With most of the renovation already done La Maison d'Artiste is ready for you to move in and live comfortably. We have rewired top to bottom, replumbed with two new en-suite bathrooms and downstairs W.C., ceilings and original wooden floors repaired and restored, original doors and windows repaired and restored, walls and ceiling painted. It's genuinely habitable now.
The only missing elements are:
Kitchen; at present the room has been completely plasterboarded, there is dedicated wiring and plumbing in place for dishwasher, washing machine and socket for fridge freezer. We use bottled gas for the cooker. We have freestanding white goods, etc and open shelf storage.
Heating: we currently use portable electrical heaters and paraffin heaters (very popular in France). There are several chimneys'flues throughout La Maison d'Artiste which could be utilised for log/pellet burners and there is sufficient space on the consumer unit to have electrical-based heating added. If you live in France there are various grants available.
